I voted it's tough, because it is a *lot* harder than it used to be. Way fewer people seem to be playing, and the economy hasn't reflected that enough to balance.

That said, I've learned to adjust to the tougher times. Don't session or show many dogs anymore, use outside studs sparingly, and can never buy a puppy.

I feel like I'm getting by, but not much more.

From my perspective, the SD economy seems to have been helped enormously by the bonus. The activity in the showing side in Keeshonds has improved markedly, and I would expect that may happen for other breeds also. For myself I am now able to session more than 1 dog, so am able to show more than 1 dog.

I came back this week.

Sitting tight and watching the balance change has encouraged me to not sweat it. I bought one dog and will work with it while trying to help the balance build up.

Trying to do too many things all at once seems to be the general downfall.

Voting fine.

Double Diamond, Jeff (admin) has been sick with the flu since last week. If you message him again, I am sure he will fix you up.

I feel that it's fine the way it is. In my opinion, budgeting your kennel is an important part of the game, as it is in real life.

I have Basenji here, and in my Purrs_Port kennel I was trying to do two kennels both breeds Border Terrier and Basenji have no players. They were always a challenge but now... I have been not even looking in much. There are just 4 kennels including myself, two not counted last here one ages ago, and the other doing low source breeding. So for some it is very hard. I am up to over -1K from 5K from doing nada can't show cause no one does *in my breeds*

I voted impossible to make money and still play from this kennel, tho do have balance its from not playing really, just 'naming' geriatric puppies to breed or figure what can be done.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
