(Didn't know what else to call the post!)

I went through my solid kennel. Here are my current top SOPs:

Black-dog 65.10, bitch 78.95
Cream-dog 44.80, bitch 64.80
Sand-dog 65.20, bitch 70.30
White-dog 40.25, bitch 68.30
Gold-dog 70.95, bitch 73.20
Liver-dog 67.75, bitch 43.75

I have more black and cream vs the other solid colors.

My highest solid colors in this kennel are:

White-male 66.0, bitch 73.7
Cream-male 74.75, bitch 19.25
Sand-male 61.5, bitch 70.9
gold-male 68.1 (LC, liver), bitch 64.5
liver-male 75.55, bitch 71
black-male-73.35, female 70.4 (LC)

several of them are out of recent litters but the males will go up for stud when old enough.

My highest unticked in this kennel are:
black and white LC male 17.5, white and black female 14

I do have some Tt that are in the 20s in this kennel. i am going to start adding Tt to the names of the dogs that carry unticked so I can keep better track, but it should make it easier to breed higher faster-as long as the genes cooperate!

Black -- Male 76.00, Female 21.70
Cream -- M 27.45, F 11.70
Gold -- M 21.40, F 23.55
Sand -- M 20.40, F 72.75
White -- M 69.80, F 19.25

I haven't been improving SOPs so much as making sure I have a solid line of each color so I don't lose them later!

I did a quick glance and my highest unticked is 28.45. I really need to sort and cull (in all my kennels!) this weekend. I'll try to do a more detailed unticked update after I do that.

My highest unticked is a 29.7 sand and white boy. He'll be at stud in 3 weeks. I think I'm going to do at least half my breedings to ticked and then breed back to unticked, to try to bring the SOP up a little faster. We shall see!

Alright, did a quick sort and cull in unticked.

Here's what I have!

White and Sand M-4.5 F-8.6
White and Black M-25.85 F-26.70
White and Gold M-16.75 F-11.45
White and Liver M-XXX F-7.25
White and Cream M-XXX F-4.4
Sand and White M-11.20 F-8.75
Gold and White M-21.75 F-17.95
Black and White M-23.35 F-28.45
Cream and White M-9.6 F-XXX
White Liver and Tan M-7.45 F-4.45
Black Tricolor M-15.85 F-15.95
White Black and Tan M-XXX F-5.55
Liver Tricolor M-6.65 F-6.50

XXX means I don't have one in that color. Most are young, but I'll go through and put all boys of age up for stud. I may try bringing in some Tt blood as you know which boys have those genes Koda. I'm also occasionally getting an unticked in my solid kennel (so far, I've gotten one LOL) that I'll keep if it's competitive SOP (or what passes for that in untickeds!)

And in case you guys who are source breeding aren't doing this, I found it really interesting to turn on the "old ratings" found under Edit Account Settings.

This is the first set of breedings I did based on old ratings rather than new ones. I'm not sure I'll see a difference, but it definitely looks different! And, I found it interesting that if you compare two dogs new vs old, it's not always the same as to who is actually higher.

LOL-I'm just glad we're starting to get up into rainbow territory rather than solid red with unticked. If you are looking for Tt, I'm going to try to put that in the name of any Tt so it is easy to keep track of. Will see how well I remember when I am doing it!

Also, starters were back down to $42, so I bought a couple more. Didn't get anything good but at that price it's worth buying a few to hope to get lucky.

For the solid breeders, I have a few nice/ok SOP boys that will go up for stud tomorrow (glad I noticed so I held off on breeding my girls that are ready!).

There will be:

gold-70.95
black-65.15
white, liver pigment-32.30

If you guys have any boys going up soon, let me know!

I have a gold LC liver pigment at 68ish going up in two days-and several solids in the high teens/low 20s going up tomorrow or Tues. Other than that, most of my 60s/70s are 13 days today so will be a couple weeks!

Finally got around to sorting and putting all of my color studs up for stud. Is anyone still working on color?

I still am, solids in Erised, non-ticked in here. I think top dog is the only other breeder now? Not sure...

Did you know?
A specialty show is a dog show which reviews a single breed, unlike other dog shows, particularly conformation shows, which are generally referred to as "all-breed" because they are open to all breeds recognized by the sponsoring kennel club.
