When I came back, I bought some source line Mudi bitches to bring back some of the missing colors. I bred them to somewhat current SOP males (who were the missing colors), and always kept at least the highest SOP bitch puppy. It took almost a year and 10 generations of breeding, but today, I got a keeper bitch puppy from one of my source lines that is showable!

Makes me tempted to try it in another breed to bring back a color that is gone.

Congrats! I have been doing something similar with field spaniels and it is a lot of fun!

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
