this post has been edited 2 time(s)

Gen4 breeding almost done; got quite some 50+ (even one brown female, yeah!) and two dogs 60+; I'll keep the yellow one, the Y&W is for sale, in case anyone is interested.

Looking forward to Gen5 - counting days as well, only 18 leftwink :)

Hi everyone.
I am interested in getting involved with the project and have been speaking to Anachronism and she has offered me a few dogs to get me started. If anyone has any other pups for sale that would be useful to the project I would be interested in buying a few more

Just a quick update:

(This is 'Edge of Tomorrow' kennel)

I've decided to cut down on a large number of my other breeds and have decided to move my PPs to some different kennels so I can focus on them some more as I feel like I've neglected this breed a bit.

So - once I've slowly finished moving them all across they will eventually be:

Inglenook - All my Brown/Brown&Whites.
No Added Sugar - All my Yellow/Yellow&Whites.

I'm looking forward to being able to devote much more space to this breed and hopefully catch up SOP-wise as I've fallen behind! :P

Been really quiet in here!

Just wanted to share something I found interesting with you all.

I started off with several starter bitches, back when we started this project. I wanted to see whose offspring was still about. I have been breeding then keeping the best bitches back, 20 in all (I breed in two batches) then the best of those pups are kept and so on

I have 20 brood bitches and looking back at their Gen 1 relatives I found

Agama 7

Anhinga 9

Angelfish 3

Albatross 1

I was suprised that my girls only are descended from 4 girls, and that Anhinga and Agama are so represented. I am tempted to check the boys now

Wow - it's been yonks since this particular post was updated - so I figured we should try to keep it active with new updates from everyone's kennels happy :)

How are your PPs doing at the moment?

What are you current highest SOP males/females?

How is everyone doing in the show ring?

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
