I don't know much about Akita breed, I'm in Collies, Shiba, Basenji, and Saluki
but I always try to make the lead and collar invisible to the judge, so with my collie she has a full white collar, so the collar is silver and the lead is white I have a 5ft, and a 3ft lead, i would contact the breeder and find out the info and ask where they get their stuff that's the best course to go

I’ve got a 4ft lead for my Corso. I think 4ft would work for you too. I go with colors that match my dog or that I like lol

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
