My love for this breed began in the summer of 1983. While at a horse show a family had these curious looking puppies for sale, I had no idea what breed they were lol. Of course I was only 9 at the time, but they had the cutest colors and markings! I just wanted one! My dad noticed throughout the day I kept visiting the pups, and playing with a particular red one, which would be known as a Liver red tri. By the end of the day he was willing to look at them, talk with the family and ultimately let me have him!

He wouldn't be known in the confirmation ring, he was my boy! He would go on to be my 4-H Project earning Multiple local and State Obedience Championships in CD|CDX|UD. As well as earning me titles in the Showmanship Ring. He was well known locally as a master stock dog. Herding everything from ducks to sheep and cattle.
Even your kids when needed LOL.
At one point someone had stolen him! When my mom wasn't sure we would ever see him again, she thought it best to bring me a new one. Thus began the venture into this breed with Blue Moons Hocus Pocus "Pookie"
