GEM CREST KENNELS

Welcome to Gem Crest Kennels, we strive for correct confirmation and preservation breeding. We have been running our kennel since 4/19/2024, I am young blood in this world and I am just here to enjoy the ride. At Gem Crest we have a main focus on the following breeds; Cane Corsos, Dalmatians, Giant Schnauzers, Labrador Retrievers and Standard Poodles.

We had started a Plott line when we first came into the game but are currently on a break from the breed as we focus on making room and expanding our breed knowledge and how to show more inclusively to the advantage of our dogs. Cane Corso
Our Cane Corso program started as just getting into the breed but with our first female from CH Clawhammers Dorn, we just grew to love the breed and she showed so well for me. She has passed that onto her pups and now we have an amazing start to our program. She is currently spending her time in retirement in a pet family home after having 4 litters, totaling 21 pups with 8 being here at home and 13 being in pet homes.

Dalmatian
Our Dalmatian program started back when we had Fingerprints Spotted Jasper UD, who did really well in Obedience over the show ring. She has a single litter and was retired. She produced three pups that I held back and raised. They are now retired but they gave us our current pups. We are now beginning to be picky with our studs in hopes to give our females a chance to beat their brothers earlier on in their show careers.

Giant Schnauzer
Our program is newer and we can’t wait to see what we have to bring to the table. Our pups are from our outsourced foundation female Yuda June and she has since passed away. She gave us Regina Getting The Gem Throne who is our current female helping our program grow. We have yet the chance to show them a lot this month and will be trying to get them out in January. Wish us luck!

Labrador Retriever
Our Labrador Retriever program is just starting to get its boat rowing and we are very pleased with our first litter thus far! Our female is from Wicked Beauties and our male is from Shelador, two very amazing breeders. Our foundation female CH Wicked Beauties Fudge UD produced 2 litters, our first litter was from our Sheldor Stud GCH Sheldors Nightly Watchman. Our second litter was from GCH Paradise Rian Maker UD, both males helped us get our program rolling and have been a huge leap starters to getting us into the show ring. They have all been retired and have been limited in shows. Our current program is seeking new blood and we have 3 new babies added to our program.


Standard Poodle
Our Standard Poodle program started with CH Envisage Brown Betty UD, who is now enjoying the retirement life and is the proud mother and Grandmother of our current pups and dogs. Envisage had 20 puppies, 8 of which are currently in show homes and 12 of which went to pet homes. Our program has been focusing on the Brown pigmentation gene pool and We would love to go back and focus on that in the future. We took a step back from the Brown lines but with our current litter surprising us, we have brought back the thoughts of a brown poodle. True brown poodles. If you see TRUE in their news please know we aren’t out sourcing we are just making it known that our poodles are being bred to produce more browns. Our goal is to get GCH and keep the COI low.
