Thank you for visiting Hajar Afghan Hounds. I exclusively breed and exhibit Afghan Hounds, starting my own distinct line from the source. Show-quality Hajar dogs will finish their conformation championships, then move on to completing their obedience titles. As my breeding program advances, I plan to focus on exotic colored dogs with correct, textbook conformation.

In real-life, I am 25-years-old and I have been professionally grooming for nearly nine years. I currently manage a grooming salon in Henderson, Ky. I competed with a Miniature Poodle at SuperGroom Summit 2008 at Nash Academy in Lexington, KY.
My family showed Afghan Hounds & Salukis in the past, under the prefixes Brinmor and Kachu. I own seven dogs of my own: Bijouteries SpicedRum Hammond "Russell" (Miniature Poodle), Bijouteries It Girl "Nikki" (Standard Poodle), Bearcreek's Suzie Q "Suzie" (Toy Manchester Terrier), "Koko" (Whippet-Terrier X), "Tazzie" (Whippet-Terrier-Heeler-Lab X), "Rambo" (Lab-Pit Bull X), and my beloved Hajars Black Swan Amar "Olivia" (Afghan Hound). I am also fostering three Shetland Sheepdog-Heeler puppies, "Zeppelin", "Woodstock" and "Gracie".
My whole world revolves around dogs, needless to say!
