We specialize in Spinone Italiano -- versatile hunting dogs for field, field trials and show.
Our registered kennel affix is ITSI.
The SI is a typical wire-haired griffon, rustic, strong, with a powerful skeleton, very muscular and larger than medium size. Suited for hunting in all climates and on all terrains. Its fur in fact protects it from the water and it goes nonchalantly into cold, deep water, being an excellent swimmer and a model retriever. The SI is very sociable, courageous, loyal and is an excellent companion.
The SI is a large hunting breed. The height at the withers is 23 to 27 inches for males and 22 to 25 inches for females. The ideal build tends to fit into a square. The length of the body, measured from sternum to point of buttocks, is approximately equal to the height at the withers with tolerance of no more than 1 inch in length compared to height.
Our policy for selling puppies is to sell only those we believe may finish and that will improve the overall quality of our new SD breed.

I do not put any sales restrictions on my puppy sales, but I always hope for a home where they will be sessioned and put in shows.
