Color Breeding Guide
Harl X Harl: Harl, Black, Mantle, Merle, White, Lethal White.
Harl X Black or Mantle: Black, Mantle, Harl. Game throws random things like merles in it, which in RL would not happen with this combo.
Harl X Blue: Blacks, Blues. Harls really shouldn't come from this...
Harl X Fawn: Blacks, Merles, Harls, (these pups will carry fawn gene recessive), Brindle if harl carries recessive.
Harl X Brindle: Same as above.
Harl X Merle: Merles, Lethal Whites, Whites, Harls maybe
Harl X Recessive...wild card
RECESSIVES/MISMARKS:
It takes two recessives to become dominant. This is where the blue harl, fawn harl, fawn merle and the like come from. The only way to keep track of this is to track your pedigree.
A Chocolate Dane is a merle.
Mismarks
This means a Dane that has the right coat pattern but wrong color. Examples are a Fawn Harlequin. This dog has Fawn colored patches instead of Black as seen on a normal Harl. In RL we refer to this as a "Fawnakin".

I show Danes in real life, and my established kennel on this game is Equity Danes, same as my real life kennel. In order for us to have Harls we need whites and merles as odd as that sounds. I am more than happy to help others in Danes trying to bring them back.
