My primary goal of this kennel is to maintain genetic diversity in all my breeds. I will reach this goal in the following ways:

Afghan Hounds: I am currently "field breeding" my Afghans, focusing on and prioritizing traits that, in real life, would contribute to dogs being excellent coursers. This focus on alternative traits means that my dogs will develop along a different path, making them handy for outcrosses.

Mudik: I consistently produce high-SOP Mudik using something I call the Value Method, but have noticed a lot of traits being "locked" on one end or the other. This is especially worrying given that this is a breed with very few dogs available. I will be bringing in starter dogs on a regular basis to help ease this problem.
