Norwegian Amstaffs

WELCOME TO MY KENNEL

Norwegian Amstaffs - Breeder of American Staffordshire Terriers

I don’t have any strict policies or rules. I hardly ever decline any offers, and if I do, I will let you know why.

My goal is to breed quality dogs, and I will NEVER sell dogs which aren’t finishable.

Why did I choose this breed?
Maybe because this is my only way to ever “own” an American Staffordshire terrier.
I come from Norway, were the breed got banned a couple of years ago.
The government thought this would be a “good” thing, so they could get rid of all the dangerous dogs, and American Staffordshire Terrier look so similar to the pitbull, which have been forbidden for many years. Only those who owned amstaffs from before the new law came could keep them, but they can’t be re-homed or soled, and you can leave the country with them. You will never be abel to bring them back in. So if you can’t take care of your amstaff, you have to put it down, or if you are lucky, find a new home for it in Sweden!
Right before this lovely breed was banned, many people bought them. It has never been born so many amstaffs in Norway before, since this was the last chance!

So what is better than having a kennel called Norwegian Amstaffs, when it is very far from the reality?

I am really hoping that these people who are making the decisions in this country, some day see that the American Staffordshire terrier isn’t a vicious breed…..
