What is up with the dog names?
Because I was starting with source dogs, I knew it would take a very long time before the dogs were going to be competitive in the show ring, I wanted a naming system, without using up all my “show names” on dogs that would never see the ring.
The dogs are named based on an alpha-numerical system. The first number is the litter number, the second number is based on the pups order in the litter, using numbers for males and letters for females. For example, the dog: Patterns 0034-C is a the third bitch (C) from my 34th litter.
Dogs SOP and Show Shine are listed in each call name. I am currently running off the old ratings until I can see what my reds are doing. Once the dogs are high enough quality to accurately judge quality, I will be switching over to the new ratings.
