About Mudik
The Mudi is a Hungarian herding breed, dating from at least the 18th century, possibly earlier. Because dogs were bred for performance and not conformation, many of the Hungarian breeds are interrelated, and it is not known for certain which came first. The Mudi comes in the following colors, listed in English and Hungarian:
black / fekete
white / fehér
fawn / fakó
ash / hamvas
brown / barna
ashbrown / hamvasbarna
black merle / cifra
brown merle / barna cifra
ash merle / hamvas cifra
