Welcome to Zoeys Place Zoey...aka MBIS/MBISS Am/Can Ch. Eclipse Envy of Sporting Field, is my real life Whippet.
Zoey was #1 Whippet, #3 Hound, #25 All-Breed in 2005. She was the winner of 18 All-Breed Best In Shows in the US, was 2003's Hound of the Year in Canada and won Best of Breed and Group 4 at the 2006 Westminster Kennel Club.
She is my heart and soul, and her courageous spirit shines brightly.
She had to retire early due to an unfortunate incident that left her back end in a deteriated state. This is Zoey in her wheelchair and draping getting ready to go into the Parade of Honors at the 2009 Whippet National. There was not a dry eye at ringside, and she got a standing ovation.
Zoey now lives in Florida with a dear friend of mine, basks out in the Florida sunshine, goes for romps on the beach, and trucks around in her wheelchair on their 3 mile hikes.
This kennel here on ShowDog is dedicated to her.
Zoeys Place will be focusing on color only using 1/2 starters. If you need color in your GP line, come to Zoeys Place.
