Liver Dals are our specialty!
Take a look at our Amicus line for quality and finishable dals that are a result of thoughtful combinations of existing lines, with a focus on the recessive liver gene. Expect to find high SOP black and whites for sale simply because of our selective color breeding program.
Color is important to our kennel and we will note known color genetics in the name of the animal so that it can easily be identified by pedigree, i.e. "bb" after the name indicates the animal is liver in color, "Bb" indicates the animal is black and white, but carries the liver gene, and "BB" indicates the animal is black and white and will only throw black and white pups (which is usually not known at birth and must be later indicated in the call name instead).
Sales
As most all dalmatian kennels, we share our genetics by selling quality puppies and placing our dogs at stud. We gladly will accept offers on our Amicus line to kennels interested in showing and breeding our puppies, including basic accounts, only asking that you offer any purchased back to us before reselling or sending to their forever homes.
Purchases
Currently we are looking for any bitch or dog that has a top, neck and back of less than 10. The overall SOP of the dog, not taking into account SS, should be 96 and up. If you have or know of a dog with this trait, please e-mail.
Our Studs
CH Amicus Cherry Cordial (98.6/20 Bb) - Another Amicus boy that is a result of an incredible breeding with a 98.3 dam and 98.7 Sire. Although not as well rounded as Sky Marshall, in that he has a 9.7 Fore, 9.7 Temper and 9.6 Feet, his SOP is a result of a very solid 9.9 head, 9.9 Gait, 10.1 Top, 10.1 Coat, and 10.1 Size. Cherry has it where it matters!
CH Amicus Sky Marshall (98.6/20) - This boy is certainly an up and comer, and will throw color into your kennel as he carries the recessive liver gene. Along with a 9.9 head, 9.9 Gait and 10.1 Coat, he carries well-rounded traits to throw the highest SOP pups in the breed. His lines are strong, a 98.3 dam and 98.4 sire.
CH Amicus High Roller - We said he would never make it to the show ring as they got the short end of the SS stick, but he is now a champion stud with well rounded traits so good that SS didn't matter. He is an important part of our breeding program because he possesses the important 9.9 size.
