Reclaiming Dogs

Premium users can reclaim dogs from the links on their main kennel pages provided all of the following criteria are met.

For dogs in inactive basic kennels:

*You must be the original breeder
*The owner (on a Basic account) must not have logged in within the past 30-days
*The dog must not be forever homed
*The last time you reclaimed a dog must be at least seven days ago

For dogs in banned kennels:

*You must be the original breeder
*The owner must not have logged in within the past 15-days
*The dog must not be forever homed
*The dog must not be deceased
*The last time you reclaimed a dog must be at least seven days ago

There are no exceptions to these restrictions.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
