I know there is a few closet SD addicts among us :P

Tonight there is a members comp at KCC Park indoor Arena- check in is from 6.30 til 7.

This is where the judges build up their numbers (they need 250 dogs judged) before they can go for their championship show licenses- so if you read this and live in proximity come down!

Im not on the committee or anything- but I got every second thursday of every month- the atmosphere is relaxed- you get little prizes and its good practise for puppies that need the work or new exhibitors. Ill be there with my 2 feral GSPs and handling an Affenpinscher, Pyrenean Mastiff and a Labrador :P More busy for me than a champ show lol

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
