Lhasa apso

this is Champion Rupso who is the preserved in the natural history museum
he is the first British champion
in 1906

NOW my lhasa apso in 2010



I think you can still see the same expression in some of todays apso's although i think some lines have a softer exprssion


photo is photo is of Ch Little Dargee photo taking very early 1900s around the same time as the first.

The main difference is the coat! The Lhasa apso has become more appealing to the eye coats have become longer and almost straight . we have to also take in t consideration the grooming tools and products we have available today.
