Couple of questions:

The list of easiest to train breeds--where did this come from? Was this compiled from your own personal experience, from SD win statistics, SD entries by breed, or is this an official list provided by Jeff?

The post said after you get your first title (CD) that if you 'don't continue and train' for the next title, your dog gets put into Novice B. At what point is your dog considered to have 'been trained for the next title'? As long as they have been sessioned once in at least 1 trait in the second row?

OK, I just wanted to make note of something— in my dog's first trial, she got NQ and this comment: "This dog appeared to be a bit confused about how this trial works. It looks like this is its first obedience trial." Do all dogs get this their first show, or is it possible to get a qualifying score first time out?

Bump

All dogs get that their first show.

As for Aces Wild Kennels, admin created the easiest to train list. And, after you finish your CD Title, you can then compete on the next level. Novice B is just there if you want to enter it, most dogs just zip right through it. Sure, you have to train for the next row of traits because those are the ones judged in the next level, but you can go to it anyway. You don't need to train at all so long as you got to that class wink ;)

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
