Great.

Fascinating to see how the dogs stack up over the month.

Selecting handlers was a good article too - cleared up some misconceptions I had.

Now I just have to breed a dog good enough to get into the magazine!

Thanks for featuring Ch Tireachan Second Coming on the back cover.

She's been an amazing foundation bitch to restart in Wolfhounds. #1 Bitch All Breed for two months straight. And, She set the new GCH point record for Wolfhounds.

Today, I bred her to her Multi BIS GCh grandson to see what I can get.

Thanks to Tireachan for allowing me to buy her when I contacted them about getting back into Wolfhounds.

I did laugh at the Westminster KC section

"Rumor beat crowd favorite Preston". I was there and trust me. the crowd DIED over Rumors comeback. When I saw she came out of retirement earlier this year I knew she would win the garden. People were screaming her name at the group ring. Preston is very nice but his crowd support fell a bit that night haha

(Not a hate comment, I just thought it was funny. I like seeing real dog show sections. great addition!)

Fantastic job on the Chronicle! It looks amazing!

I was quite surprised at the 'Best in Show by Group' section - the difference between the Groups is really incredible!

Herding: 22
Hound: 20
Non-Sporting: 13
Sporting: 2
Terrier: 12
Toy: 2
Working: 59

I'm wondering what everyone's insights are into the reason why the Working group has so many group winners, and why the Sporting and Toy groups have hardly any? happy :)

I'm thinking that Working breeds have larger litters and therefore a greater genetic chance of producing higher SOPs at a faster rate compared to say Toy breeds that have very tiny litters?

Or I wonder if it's just that the Working group has more popular breeds such as Danes, Huskies and G.Shepherds?

Very interesting results - I find this fascinating!

Did you know?
In the American Kennel Club, a dog needs 15 points to become a Champion, with each win gaining anywhere from zero to five points depending on the number of dogs competing and the area where the show is held.
