Judge Info - Abigail King

Showdog.com Judge Since Tuesday, July 31, 2018
Retirement Announced 8/31/2018

Shows a slight bias toward dogs over bitches. Actually prefers to see the owner of the dog handling it. Low level of breed bias. Has a tendency to like dogs the more often they're seen. Thinks a dog needs to earn its championship before it should even be considered for best of breed. Thinks dogs should be compared to how good they are vs the rest of their breed rather than overall quality vs all dogs.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
