Hi Chalkie and welcome in, ALL dogs have Sop, that just means scale of points, and in purebred dogs with confirmation shows like the games based on, they are compared to their breeds Scale of Points.


Such as a Saint Bernards head looks totally different from a Bull Terrier, whos coats different from a Poodle for example.

All breeds have different points that are most important in the breed.

For example your breeds are numerous... lets take IG's for example
If you click on breed difficulty on list to the left and select IG, you come to this page:
www.showdog.com/Breeds/dog_breed_info.aspx?breed=Italian%20Greyhound
At the bottom of which you see the breeds scale of points.
Note the gait is 20 and TNB are 15, they are of prime importance in your breed.
So technically if a dog has mostly 9 and 11 with good showshine, but a 6 or 7 or 13 for its back it probably wouldnt show as well as if its back was at least 8
*ideal being 10 remember*
