EA is set to launch a brand new update for Madden NFL 21 which will tackle a different longstanding problem with Franchise mode, making player trades easier to comprehend and much more realistic. Since its launch this past year, the most recent edition from the NFL sim has been met with a mixed reception from fans and critics. Some have even called for the NFL to fall EA and put another company in charge of video game adaptations because of a perceived lack of improvement in the show over the past couple of decades.

The developer has made quite a few significant changes to the signature match mode after fan feedback and criticism. Many users felt like the newest installment not only failed to improve on its predecessors but it had been lacking significant features.

The final update for Madden 21's Franchise mode is launching today, together with EA detailing how it will simplify the player trade process and make it fairer for users. The principal change comes to the player-trading logic utilized within the sport. Previously, valuations for celebrities would be based on just how far up the depth chart they had been for their present team. However a change in the system will indicate that they will be valued based on valuable they'll be for the squad they are being traded to. A similar modification has also been created so that the value of players additionally takes into consideration their suitability for the schemes employed by teams. All in all, EA claims that it hopes these changes will make Madden 21"closer to what we have seen [in real life] based on changing perceptions of'realistic' trades through recent years."

Those who want to try out Madden 21 for the first time may be in luck this week. Microsoft and EA announced a couple of days back that Madden 21 would be coming to Xbox Game Pass from March 3 via EA Play. The sport sim will be combined by Star Wars Squadrons along with several other titles from EA's back catalogue, along with a host of other Xbox games over the coming weeks.

Seeing EA update Madden 21 this much, especially in relation to its single-player Franchise style, is unusual. However, it is refreshing to see the developers trying to recover some of the trust it had dropped with players over what was mostly considered to be a roster upgrade instead of a true sequel when the game released annually.
