So I just started showing a australian shephard and I was wondering how many points she can miss before she NQs.

NQ is when they don't have enough points to qualify, so a dog that hasn't been trained at all will NQ.

In order to Q you need 18's (at least) in the 5 exercises for that class. Dogs will Q on SD but not necessarily point. To point (and place) they need a score of 170.0 or higher.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
