I've noticed lately that the points awarded don't seem to be counting the opposite sex or specials if a class dog places in breed or goes best of winners. Is there something I'm misunderstanding or?

A few examples:

To me, it would make sense that Rings Like a Bell would have gotten a major for beating one other class bitch and 3 class dogs.

Should Naughty Secret have gotten a point for beating the class dog?

I think there has to be 4 class dogs or 4 class bitches for a 3 pt. major in your breed

It has to be four dogs OR four bitches. The number of dogs entered do not count for class win points for bitches or vice versa. The only time that a bitch might get a dog's points is if she goes over a major-winning dog for best of winners (cross-over points), if SD.com follows real life. (I'm recently returned, so don't take cross-over wins as gospel, coming from me.
