I did a little search - I think the show was judged by Charles Wilson and the breed the Irish Setter. It does seem a strange one - I can't see anything that might explain this. https://www.showdog.com/shows/breed_results.aspx?show=Clays%20Top%20Dogs&breed=Irish%20Setter# |

I have an even crazier one for you: my source dog beat my 95 + SOP specials not only for BOB, but then took a Group 1!!! Charles Wilson sure does seem to be an eccentric judge, lol. |

Not only that, but he's a 'very political' judge. The winners were owner handled (at least in my breed) and the ones with the preferred handlers finished at the bottom. At this point, it's totally random, might as well pick handlers with your eyes closed. I think it's slowly going off the rails. |
