Sorry for the delay, I have been fighting my Chronic illness with the summer heat. I am working on finishing and getting the past few days out when possible. I am hoping that I can get caught up by the end of the month at least.
Without further a do, here is what y'all are here for! To the Top 1 Entries: 517 Judge: Brian Oatman Judges Comments: When looking at the dogs in today's ring, I was looking at the overall picture of the dog and how they presented the breed's traits. I have a relatively high breed preference and like to stay with my top dog breeds. When picking winners I like to see dogs that have their Champion titles over new or not as experienced dogs in the breed and group. I had a great time judging today's winners, thank you for having me. Best in Show went to GCH Taymyr Park Avenue Tycoon, the Norwegian Buhund. He is winning his 2nd Best in SHow ribbon today and he is getting on the chase for his Silver Grand-Champion title. He was handled by Maret gentile for owner and breeder Taymyr. He is the current #2 Norwegian Buhund, #24 Herder and #39 All Breed. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Second in the show today was GCH RoseHound Majestic, the Saluki. Fourth in show was GCH Llanelli J Samuel, the Irish Setter. He is winning his 2nd Group placing and hoping to add some more. He was handled by Maret Gentile for owner and exhibitor Paw & Order Kennels, they are hoping to get up and go after the Bronze. He is the current #7 Irish Setter and hoping to climb up the ranks to show himself off to the show world. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. The remaining group winners were CH RJ Mums Pretty Garden (Standard Poodle), GCH Andy’s Anarchy (Scottish Terrier) and CH Struck By Anthracite (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). Best Owner Handled went to CH Taymyr the Desert Prince (Norwegian Buhund) and best Puppy went to Willow Havoc (Australian Shepherd). Briarstone Bash6 Entries: 406 Judge: Mickey Bysshe Judges Comments: While looking at the dogs in the ring today, I was looking at the dog overall. I really want to see the dog match their breed standard but I would like to see the coat be clean, in the show cut and flowy when the dog moves, I want to see the coat move with the dog. I have a gaslight preference for dogs over bitches in the ring. I do like to compare the dogs to their overall breed standard to other dogs in their breed. I also want to see the winners of each breed in their group to be the best picture shot of the group description and the same goes for group winners for best in show winner candidates. Best in Show went to CH Parhelion Cruel Winter, the White and Black Dalmatian. Making that his 4th Best in Show win and just shy of his Grand-Champion title. He was handled by Maret gentile for owner Jimbos Pad. He is the current #8 Dalmatian, #11 Non-Sporting and #31 All Breed.. Congratulations to both owner and dog and good luck on getting that Grand Champion tomorrow! Second in the show today Udogssmile All Cheese, the Newfoundland. Lake Itasca 95 Entries: 355 Judge: Martin Lee Judges Comments: When looking at the pictured moment for each dog in the ring today, I was looking at the head and how it sits on the neck with proper placement. I was also looking at the topline and how that topline blends into the forequarter. When the dog moves, I want to see the rear muscles push the dog forward and show good stride length and good tracking placement. I do have a preference for dogs over bitches in my ring, I am not very political, I like seeing both handlers and owners in the ring and will choose a mix of both for the winners circle.I do like select breeds that I judge more often or have been around from my own past history. Best in Show went to CH Franwick Lonely Boy, the Australian Shepherd. That will be his first Best in group and Best in SHow placing at just 39 days old! He was handled by Maret Gentile for owner and exhibitor Jimbo's Pad. He is the current #1 Australian Shepherd and #17 Herder. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today, also good luck on getting that last point for his Grand-Champion title. Second in show today CH TLC Pilot To The Star, the Irish Setter. Making this his second Group win for a 33 day old Setter. He was handled by Maret Gentile for owner and Breeder The Lemon Claw, good luck on your next five legs to his Grand-Champion title! He is the current #9 Irish Setterand #19 Sporting, he is hoping to win some more and boost his ranking this month. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Third in show went to GCH Intrinsicc Puppy Dog Tails, the Italian Greyhound. Making this his fourth group win and another step closer to the halfway point for his Gold. He was handled by Huntert Dawe for owner and exhibitor AG Qarat. He is the current #1 Italian Greyhound and #30 Toy, he is hoping to rise in those standing later this month. FCongratulations and good luck to both owner and dog! Fourth in the show today was GCH Digestive Star, the Samoyed. He is winning his first group win and that makes him 3 points over his Grand, good luck on the Bronze! He was handled by Maret Gentile for owner and exhibitor Jimbos Pad. The remaining group winners were GCH Tarot I Think It’s Tonto (Afghan Hound), CH TxB Epic State (Boston Terrier) and Captiva Jazz Music (American Staffordshire Terrier). Best Owner Handled went to Clay Creek March to Stanergill (Border Collie) and Best Puppy went to Willow Hector (Australian Shepherd). Myers All Breed 9 Entries: 375 Judge: Daniel Washington Judges Comments: When looking at all of the dogs today I was looking for a dog that had a good coat and gait while moving around the ring when entering. When I see them in their stack I want to see the rear look solid and when I see them from inspection I want to feel the muscle tone and then see these muscles used when the dog is gaiting. I tend to pick dogs and bitches that are handled by handlers over owners but I am not overt to owners winning group placings with their dogs. I think Best in Breed winners should be picked by the overall dog to the breed standard and that they have their Champion title. I have no breed bais, I like to pick who looks good each day in the ring. Best in Show went to GCH BarStar Thinkin Bout Me, the White and Black Dalmatian. She is adding her 6th Best in Show win and ribbon to her wall today. Handled by Annee Lino for owner and exhibitor Jimbos Pad, she is working toward her Bronze Grand-Champion and I can’t wait to see her more! She is the current #2 Dalmatian, #2 Non-Sporting and #1 All Breed. COngratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Second in the show today is GCH Chonselta Auspicious, the German Shepherd Dog. She is winning her 11th group placing and adding yet another win under her belt. She was handled by Annee Lino for owner and breeder Chonselta. She is the current #2 German Shepherd Dog, #1 Herder and #21 All Breed. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Third in show went to an Afghan Hound named GCH Bokda Red Tail. This will be her 3rd Best in group placing for her and her career in hopes that she can get Best in Show before veteran classes. She was handled by Annee Lino for owner and Exhibitor The Slough Rovers, as they chase a track of a possible Bronze Grand-Champion title. She is the current #3 Afghan Hound, #3 Hound and #25 All Breed. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Fourth in the show was CH She Has The Real Zeal, the Gordon Setter. She is winning her fourth group placement and is hoping to add some more as she ages. She was handled by Annee Lino for owner and exhibitor The Lemon CLaw, they are currently chasing after her next two major wins to finish her Grand title. Best Owner Handled went to DenKees Ruthless King (Keeshond) and Best Puppy went to Willow Hawthorn (Australian Shepherd). GaylandStudio4 All-Breed 24-06-12 Entries: 378 Judge: Charles Perez Judges Comments: When looking at each dog in the ring today, I was looking for the dogs vocal point to be their head, neck and topline. When looking for a good head, I am looking at the size and expression the dog has, the neck should be a good blend between the head and back, and the topline should be a nice break for the dog to show off their breed standard. I have a slight bias for bitches over dogs in the ring and winners circle. I prefer to pick dogs that have hired handlers over owners with them in the ring, but I am not overt to picking owners with their dogs for winners. Best in Show today went to GCH Diode Morning, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This will be her first Best in SHow win and her 4th group win. She was handled by Stew Kellerman for owner and breeder Hurricos. She is the current #6 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the #20 Toy. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today and good luck in the future! Second in the show today was CH STORMBRINGERS FIXATION, the Flat-Coated Retriever. That will be her 3rd Bets in Group placing and brought her up to her 4th leg to her Grand-Champion title. She was handled by Robert Pouk for owner and breeder Stormbringer Retrievers. She is the current #6 Flat-Coated Retriever, #7 Sporting and #30 All Breed. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today and wishing to see GCH next to her name after the next show! Third in show was CH RoyalPaw*DuchessInca, the Rottweiler. She is winning her first Best in Group win at just 35 days old and making her reach her final leg in her Champion title! She was handled by Robert Pouk for owner and breeder Royal Paw Kennels. She is the current #7 Rottweiler and is hoping to add some more wins and climb those ranks as she ages some more. Congratulations to both owner and dog on the win today. Fourth in show and finishing the podium was Taymyr Black Jewel, the Norwegian Buhund. Making that her 15th Best in Group win and she is also a Gold Grand-Champion for her breed. She was handled by Robert Pouk for owner and breeder Taymyr.
