I have a few Dalmatians from my recent litter up for sell, these guys and gals are below the 100 SOP and I don't understand why or how...They have GCHB blood in their vines from their Mother who is the current #6 Dalmatian with 3,840 all time dog defeats, multiple second in shows and a proven female. Sire Cruel Winter is a GCH and is enjoying retirement now.

COI is 5.43% - My goal is to get my puppies down to 0 but it takes time and diversity in the breed with studs.

I don't think I have ever had a large litter that had all 100 SOP. It doesn't seem to matter how far back the parents are 100, there are always a couple that are less.

Is it because of the SS? In my recent litter of 5, 2 of them had SS below 10.

I recently had a litter of 6 or so that were all 100 SOPs. Funny thing is they were out of a mom with crappy SS.

With 100 SOP breeds, SS isn't as important when it comes to breeding. I don't usually keep low SS since it's just as easy to keep the SS20s to show and then breed.

SS is the most random trait in SD and will pop up when it wants too.
