So... I noticed that the judges don't retire awhile back. Why is that? I remember one forum post somewhere where someone talked about the judges coming back to life or something like that. So... When and why?

Yes it has been quite a while. They are all active now which has really changed the game for me. I used to really research them and be very careful about what dog I entered under which judges. Now there are so many it's just not feasible anymore. I enter wherever I can get a handler. It has changed the game for me for sure.

I miss the intrigue of the retirements and the new judges. It is challenging in my other kennel with several breeds. It's much easier to track them with a single breed, but it's still a lot!

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
