I’m thinking they can but would like to hear from those who know.
I have a 352 day old Silver GCh and I don’t want to lose her. I suspect I will one day but does the retirement couch prevent this? I’ve not been so attached to pixels before and she isn’t even out of my breeding ![]() Thanks Carol |

I just had 3 in the last few days, all over 400 days. And yes, it's ridiculous how attached we are. I just had to FH several though I put a few up for sale. I just have to make room. And what I do is I put the dog on good food, put my finger over the key, then close my eyes so I won't see them leave. How ridiculous is that??? |

I like to try keeping my boys up for stud in the retirement home until they die, that way HOPEFULLY when they do die, they still keep their stud status if I ever need to come back to them. The stud status doesn't always stick though. It's frustrating. |

I don’t think they are able to breed once they are retired. |

Yes I retire mine until the age is getting on to the lifespan limit, then I too FH them, because then I can still look at them and they show up as alive in their new home! Ironic because in real life I would never in a million years rehome one of my dogs!! |
