How do these kennels have so many dogs?

Why hasn't the dogcatcher been to visit? Some are almost 400 days old. I guess it might be an inactive kennel. How can you tell if they are active or not? It shows their last visit 9/22.

I was also just in another one that is similar, though with only 35 adult dogs so they may have bought 5 extra spaces. They have been breeding so they are definitely active.

The help desk states:

Premium users may have up to 30 adult dogs. If you go over that limit, your dogs will not be removed, but you will no longer be able to buy dogs, enter in shows, assign handlers to shows you're already entered in, or breed. Dogs on the Retirement Couch do not count towards the limit for premium users.

Basic users may have up to 5 adult dogs. If you go over that limit, your extra dogs will be removed. Dogs on the Retirement Couch count towards the limit for basic users.


And if the 35 dog kennel is breeding they have bought the extra kennel space. Hope that helps!

They also haven't logged in since September. It's not a big deal.

They have 47 bitches. I didn’t count the males.

Premium users can have as many as 35 total.

I suspect this is a glitch.

You can have over 35 you just cannot breed or show once you hit over that. Don’t look at my kennel right now I think I have about 85 adult dogs because I keep putting off going through and FH-ing as they take so much time to look through!

The automated dog catcher doesn't kick in unless your kennel drops to basic.

For Premiums, You just can't enter or breed until you get your adult count back under 35.

Oh okay. I know I get that terrible yellow banner when I am over the limit when I try to enter shows. I never really thought about it when they are just sitting there. I guess you wouldn't have to worry about it until you need to take some action. Big food bill though.

it looks like it only went over once they stopped being active and puppies were born.
