Another one for the books - brought some friends along so less photos this year, but it was another excellent celebration of the fancy. Mostly Poodles for you all, of course...

BOV CH Smash Jp Magic (repeat winner from last year)

BOS GCHS CH Cuna Del Renacimiento Give It 2me (I really like this bitch, fabulous on the move!)

Portion of the standard lineup

BOV GCHP CH Theory Orion BCAT CGC TKI ATT

BOS GCH CH Lakeridge Put That In Your Hat At Heritage (another really nice bitch - she was my standout for variety, beautiful movement, strong well angulated hindquarters - just wow!)

Others males I admired

Love a poodle with an English saddle happy :)

Some other dogs I love to see:

GCHP CH Ta Sen Westgate Jingle Juice - stunning Lhasa!

GCHG CH Kimik Tasen Westgate Spin The Bottle

And lastly,

Until next year ... laugh :D

Thank you for posting these beautiful pictures! I do like Poodles but my heart belongs to Tollers. I was thrilled to see the Toller get a group 3 in the sporting group. This is the first ever group placement for Tollers at Westminster!

OMG that Pug picture!!! Of course I am an Afghan person, showed in the 1970s and the 1990s. And I used to have a close friend who showed Poodles, her name was Ann Raireigh (not sure about the spelling). She was a trip. Don't know if she is still in it. When I lived in NY I went to 'the Garden' every year without fail, took the day off from work and took the subway. Then I moved to NJ and got my dogs and drove, got towed more than once. LOL. It was an experience I will never ever forget. Have been friends with Mike Canalizo (Hound group judge) from the time he was 17 years old, and used to compete against Gene Blake (Non-Sporting judge) in Afghans. And have known Pat (Craig) Trotter for - well, forever. Such a wonderful lady, it was awesome to see her in tears at being honored like that. All in all, a great show and thank you so much for the great photos. How I wish I could have been there!

Did you know?
The two largest American dog shows after Westminster are the National Dog Show (which is televised on Thanksgiving Day by NBC, usually after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade) and the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
