How do people breed to dogs that are owned by someone else and are "deceased"? I don't see the option to breed to those dogs, yet I see puppies coming from them all the time!

The game has several "bugs" or loose ends that can be used to a players advantage.

The dead zombie breedings are folks using those glitches to get access to better dogs.

Cut and pasting URLs can be used to do several things.

If you right click on a dog's unforever home link, cut and paste it to a notepad. Go in and change the dog's id number to a dog you want to bring back from a forever home. Then cut and paste that into the URL and press enter..... the dog will be brought back from the FH.

This will not work with deceased dogs. And if it's an old dog, you have to move quickly or it could age out before you use it.

People can just breed an old girl. FH her. Remember when the pups are due and unFH her right before the litter drops so they don't lose her.

If you right click on the link to breed to a stud, and then cut and paste that to a notepad. Use the same technique as above.... just stick the males id number that you want to use in place of the one in the link. Cut and paste that entire URL back in the address bar and hit enter. The female will be bred to the newly entered male.

Yes, these are ways to cheat the system. I am always curious when I see players finding new ones to jack the system. And, yes, I have played with the glitches to see how things work.

If you see any other anomalies in the game, feel free to shoot me a note. I will be happy to see if I can figure out the scheme.

So.... the breed link glitch doesn't work for deceased dogs.

But I am suspecting folks are bringing older FH dogs back and they use them.... but then the dogs age out and die fairly quickly. So the folks were able to use the dog, but then access is lost once it dies.

There may be another way to use them but I am not aware of it yet.

Ahh that's so interesting (and weirdly simple, changing link names)! I'm dedicated to a source project right now and haven't branched out to other premium accounts, but may fiddle with glitches in the future. Thank you happy :)

This has just opened the barn door wide open to super kennels in certain breeds, and they have used one of my old bitches from when I was in Norwegian Elkhounds. I am not happy with this development at all.

The link bug doesn't work. What I have seen is that these dogs that die while for sale can be brought back. As well as some studs remaining active while in the Deceased kennel.

I agree, Unless I am doing something wrong. There is a dog of mine that I FH'd and would like to bring back to breed to, but there is no "Undo FH" link when I go to his page.

If I'm doing something wrong, please assist.

What I did is temporarily put a dog on FH then copy the link address for the undo forever home than change the id number to the dog I want to bring back.

I just did this glitch myself and when I bring a stud back that I want I don’t keep them for long because they die easily so when they get bred to the girl that I picked the stud gets forever home again. With girls you want to breed your stud to you have to find a girl that isn’t past their breed life expectancy or they will die before they will have the puppies.

Older girls.... just breed them... Remember the due date and time.

Revive them again less 15 to 20 minutes before the pups are due. The pups will still drop as long as the mom is in your kennel at time of whelp.

If litters are delayed, it can mess up the system.

I didn't complete my thought.

Breed old girl. FH immediately. Revive her shortly before litter is scheduled to drop. Pups should come as scheduled.

Adding to this to say I tried the undo forever home trick using the ID number and it has worked laugh :D

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
