With these color genetics in Toy Manchester Terriers where the blue gene is gone, how would one breed to get blues?

Color A D
Black AA DD
Black AA Dd
Black AAt DD
Black AAt Dd
Black and Tan AtAt DD
Black and Tan AtAt Dd
Blue AA dd
Blue AAt dd
Blue and Tan AtAt dd

So blue here is going to be recessive on the d allele, but it looks like any combo of the a allele will be fine. There is not a good way of discovering if a dog is a carrier of the recessive gene, however inbreeding will increase the chances of that recessive popping. Once you get a blue you can be certain they carrier that recessive and start adding genetic diversity back.
