Wow! I'd say so... #152 now, great work to you and whoever else is working this breed happy :)

I'd say the Polish Lowland Sheepdog is definitely in first place currently wink ;) then it appears the Kookier, Giant Schnauzer and Foxhound (and possibly another, i can't remember for sure) have all moved up 3-4 spaces (possibly due to the fact that some other breeds- possibly some that weren't originally on the bottom 10 list as well- have moved down).

Nice work Genesis, you either now how to pick 'em or you've helped them a lot already happy :)

Alright, time for the first update of the challenge! Let's look at where these breeds were at the start, and where they are now. The breeds in italics aren't called yet, so if anyone wants them, they're up for grabs!

179 Polish Lowland Sheepdog- Now 151, up 28 spots!
180 American Foxhound-Now 165, up 15 spots!
181 Shih Tzu- Now 179, up 2 spots!
182 Miniature Poodle- Now 184, down 2 spots.
183 Finnish Spitz- Now 187, down 4 spots.
184 Spanish Water Dog- Now 182, up 2 spots!
185 American Water Spaniel-Now 188, down 3 spots.
186 Lhasa Apso-Now 186, no change.
187 Giant Schnauzer-Now 180, up 7 spots!
188 Kooikerhondje Now 185, up 3 spots!

Great start, everyone! Two of these breeds are now well out of the bottom ten, and it's only been a little over a week! laugh :D

If you still want in, American Water Spaniels and Kooikerhondje can still use your help!

Alright, time for the second update of the challenge! Let's look at where these breeds were at the start, and where they are now. American Water Spaniels still aren't called, poor things.

179 Polish Lowland Sheepdog-Now 133, up 46 spots!
180 American Foxhound-Now 154, up 26 spots!
181 Shih Tzu- Now 182, down 1 spot.
182 Miniature Poodle- Now 183, down 1 spot.
183 Finnish Spitz- Now 177, up 6 spots!
184 Spanish Water Dog- Now 184, no change.
185 American Water Spaniel-Now 188, down 3 spots.
186 Lhasa Apso- Now 187, down 1 spot.
187 Giant Schnauzer-Now 143, up 44 spots!
188 Kooikerhondje-Now 185, up 3 spots!

Great job, everyone! Four of these breeds are now out of the bottom 10! Polish Lowland Sheepdogs are currently in the lead, with Giant Schnauzers in hot pursuit!

If your breed hasn't gone up, don't give up hope! You still have plenty of time to work your magic. laugh :D

I've been trying with Finnish Spitz! Entries have improved, and I've sold some puppies lately. Interest in the breed really seems to be perking up. Not that it would take much, LOL.

That's one of the fun things about working with these breeds--show a little, and before long you're one of the top three kennels! laugh :D

In one of my other kennels, I'm currently the #1 kennel in the breed in spite of the fact that I only have five of that breed, because I'm the only one who shows. ^^;

Just a quick question? Didn't there used to be rules about how sessioned a dog was before you could enter them in shows?

I don't think so... Just if your dog isn't fully sessioned then it will probably not place well... But why ask here?

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
