I've never seen such a thing. I just had a litter of Goldens with horrible temperaments. The worst one is 8.9. Can you imagine? A Golden with a temperament that bad??? The best temperament in the entire litter was 12.9. LOL I am trying to get good heads. I did get one but the rest of the dog is pitiful. COI is only 8.3% too.

I must admit I've never looked at temperament. I have two groups in my kennel the 'headed' goldens (who mostly don't get shown) and the 'show' goldens.

Although I am having some cross over success ... still waiting for that magic 9.9 or 10.1 head though!

Good luck,

Jessica

I swear the head thing in Goldens is driving me nuts. I don't usually care about temperament either but the color of the temperament block was just so BRIGHT!

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
