I was just thinking about something else and it suddenly popped into my head . . .

ShowDog has been running since about 2003 I believe. So, if for simplicity of calculation we say in 2017, that's 10+ years. At 12 SD years per real year that's 120+ SD years.

Think about that. Our handlers have mostly been around all that time. If Ellen and associates started pro handling when they were 10 years old, they are all like about 140 years old. And they are still running those setters and shepherds around the ring! Amazing!

Man, do I ever wanna know what kind of supplements (or whatever) they are on!

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
