Has anyone ever done a father to daughter breeding? If so, what were your results? Did it hurt the traits? Did you get the color you were striving for? Thank you!

I frequently will do brother to sister if I'm trying to get a color. Typically the SOPs are lower to start with and if I can get a couple of puppies of the right color I can do an outcross and then put those puppies back together.

I've never done it with current SOP (show quality) dogs though.

Thank you, they are not high sop, about mid range, started from source and not many stud dogs to choose from.
