For months now when I put the best handlers (per judge) on my top dogs, those dogs perform really poorly in shows. When these dogs don’t have judges on them, they’re always BOB. The dogs they’re losing against (dogs in my own kennel) are objectively not as good. I’ve also checked every time and see that the handlers I’ve chosen are the ones winning best in group/BIS. Is anyone else experiencing this/anyone know of some weird button I may have clicked in my account settings that’s messing with me?? Thanks!

If you mean ‘top handlers’ by the ones in the list under their names, those are Not the top handlers.

Personally, I don’t even know why those lists are even there.

When you say 'top handlers' do you mean the ljudge's ist and the top handler is the one at the top of the list? Or do you mean the top rated handler on the list?

If you look under the judge's preference it rates them 1-2-3 by their preference but if you look at the list when you select handler it shows them in the same order but it shows the judge's rating. So you can either pick the #1 per the judge's preference of the #1 just according to the stats of winning.

Does that make sense? I have given up trying to figure it out.

Look at the judges preferences.

Anything that says "dogs compared with in breed vs overall in all dogs" and "not biased in handlers"/

Preferences like that through a bit of a wild card in using handlers.

Each Judge has specific traits and random factors. Reading their snippets of information and reviewing the handlers, do help with planning. You will also find this information in the help section.
