I think it would be fun to track the top SOP of the breed. I will post my top SOP Cane Corso at the moment and please post your top dog too. I know for sure there is now a higher SOP out there, I let them the honour of posting their dog.

Is the Top SOP site no longer in existence? |

I did it for a few years, then someone took over, who no longer logs in. I think because it was purely volunteer, it was way too much to deal with for one person. |

I've got this boy ESAN Flavo: www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16297216 Would have been a 97.55 if his SS was 20. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Another low SS, but with amazing traits, would have been a 97.75! I'm amazed at this girl out of Taddeo Torello and a 97.1 bitch: www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16332890 ----- Last edited by ESAN on 5/27/2018 4:09:35 AM |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Saverio www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16399706 97.8 El Chapo x Adalina He kind of has a story. His maternal great granddam Sorcha, I accidentally forever homed after her first litter. At the time she was an exceptional female. I was saddened. She was 97. Her best daughter was Santuzza, 97.25, who didn't produce anything that great but ended up keeping a few from her because I really thought pups from this could produce nicely because of Sorcha. From Santuzza, I kept another 97.25, producing Adalina at 97.35 with a 9.8 HQ, and out of her and El Chapo (who I had bred to multiple times, never keeping anything; of nice lines full of good show dogs like ESAN El Torro, Matador, and Tempesta AF who was somewhat of a freak sop too) came Saverio: 97.8. While he is a surprise, I have played the game long enough to see these "freak" puppies not produce that great. Lol so it should be interesting to see what happens there. He will be $100 at stud when the time comes. ----- Last edited by Dreisaiah Hundehutte on 7/13/2018 2:21:30 PM |

Reina, thanks for thinking of putting Saverio up for stud! He will sure sire a lot of puppies! I noticed fawn brindle is slowly beggining to be the only colour in all the higher SOP dogs so started working on reincorporating the other colours as well. The advantage is they come with more unusual traits due to the genetic diversity. For example at the moment I have my hopes high for this red brindle boy Hell Tiger www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16367753 . Although his head and coat aren't 10 ( which lowers his SOP), his ascendents do have those 10s and I am hopefull they will show up again in his offspring. |
