My latest 3 litters have arrived. I only had to FH one bitch this time.

I got a nice little Black & Tan girl (replaces the last Black & Tan girl I had to FH a week ago), and two Black Partis, 1 girl and 1 boy.

And the usual Cream sables and Cream sable partis, plus Blacks.

I cannot wait for your Black & Tan lady to have puppies with the same color!

Excited for the pups you got! And I'm glad to have you both in this breed with me. It's always nice to have people you connect with in other kennels.

I am going to try and breed her back to Brown and Black studs, in the hopes I get just that.

Are you also Wonderpaw, I am eyeing off the Isabella and Tan parti dog for breeding purposes when he is old enough happy :)

Sorry, posting from the wrong kennel again.

Right kennel this time. Yes I am enjoying this kennel at the moment, it is fun trying to bring in new colours with other breeders with the same idea. happy :)

It is interesting trying to plan matings.

Cross fingers, I am going to breed a clear orange parti to an orange sable boy tonight.

Ha! Yes, I have parked those pretty babies in the other kennel for now.
I will get them back for breeding soon and can't wait to see the result.

Right now I am seeing that a lot of Cream Sables took and that is good. Not the big job will be bringing them up to current SOPs.

I've put the pup for sale, for when he's old enough on the other account. wink ;)

Is he up for sale - or going to another account. If he is for sale outside, I would like to buy him, if it suits you......

Sure thing, go ahead. You can wait until he's closer to the age too, if you want. I will have him for sale there ongoing.

Bad news -- the clear orange parti bitch had to be FHed, no viable pups at all from that litter. Overall I had to FH two males and two females.

The only standout was an Isabella parti girl.

The rest of the pups were:
cream sables, cream sable partis, a blue, blue sable, brown sable, and orange sable.

Ah, that is unfortunate.

I am running out of space pretty quickly, so not sure how I will be deciding what I am keeping and what goes.

I understand completely -- so far forced FH's due to whelping problems have kept my kennel under control but soon I will have hard decisions on what to keep.

Two litters over the last two days.
The first one resulted in another FHed bitch and the pups.

The second litter, resulted in:
2 Black & Tan bitches
1 Black & Tan dog
1 Black dog
1 Wolf Sable bitch

I had really upsetting litters for the current SOPs, so I deleted all the puppies from both litters and let the parents go as well.

One positive out of it - freed up some space.

Been in that position also.

On rare occasions in some of my kennels, I have FHed an entire 10 litters in disgust!!!!!!

I am getting more Cream Sable pups from the "color project" of mine. Really happy about that, because then I can work on the SOPs for this color.

But still running into the space issue, because current SOPs are giving me good pups after a bunch of litters I FHed. Ha!

Space is under control, --- only because I have lost two more specially purchased source bitches, with no viable pups and a third bitch I had success with in the past, but stayed pregnant this time, over the last two days sad :(

This is frustrating.

I have kept brown sable, isabella, blues and brown pups from the successful litters. I am hoping to try mating the blues, isabellas and browns with the black and tans and score different tan mixes down the track.

3 new litters, all went well (no forced FHs) happy :)

Apart from five cream sables (3 dogs, two bitches).
I ended up with 2 cream sable partis (1 bitch and one male)
2 brown sable bitches
1 brown sable parti bitch, and 2 brown sable parti males (one will be up for sale).

Sorry, had been MIA with real life animals/work issues etc.

From the recent color project litters I got pretty nice colors:
- Brown Parti
- Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream)
- Isabella
- Brown
- Brown & Tan
- Wolf Sable

Great variety.
Now I did have to FH a lot of dogs due to overflowing. It's a shame, because some didn't even have 1 litter.
A lot of future studs for the color projects were FH as well sad :(

But hopefully the new litters will make it worth while.

Hi, good to see you back - was getting a little concerned for you.
You have some very nice pups, looking forward to when some are ready for stud duties.

The only pup of note out of my last group of litters was a black parti girl.

Again, all three bitches "survived" so to speak.

Update: Tuesday night (Aussie time):

3 more successful litters:
with some very nice bitch puppies
1 Brown-pigmented Cream
1 Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream)
1 Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream) Parti

Sorry to scare you. I was actually questioning if I should pay for more months, but missed the pups a lot.

I am happy your last litters were a win. I hope that bug is fixed...or maybe it was just due to source dogs and since we moved from those (kind of) it hasn't happened yet.

I cannot wait for my pups to grow.
I am FH the studs quickly though to make more space, so trying to breed to them at least once to continue the line.

It is tough to pick the best....hahaha

Did you know?
In the American Kennel Club, a dog needs 15 points to become a Champion, with each win gaining anywhere from zero to five points depending on the number of dogs competing and the area where the show is held.
