Not fixed, I have seen the problem appear in some newer kennels now getting involved in colour breeding.

Has not upset anyone else at this stage. I am going to bring in a clear orange male, rather than a female at some stage, in an attempt to get this colour in the lines.

Fingers crossed.

I am fast coming up to a stage where some are going to have to go, mainly males.

Three more litters .... all bitches whelped without issues.

Among the pups I have landed a Clear Orange Parti bitch.

I also have a second Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream) Parti bitch, sister to the above girl, are you interested in her?

https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=17244043

I may try a repeat breeding, see what I can get.

All yours happy :)

Where the clear orange parti came from is anyone's guess!!!!!!

I am hoping I can get full clear oranges from her, will try breeding her to Orange sables and whites when she is old enough.

That cream colour male I got from you has been very productive happy :)

Oops - just put him back for stud, I accidently FHed him and had to go find him through his offspring...........

I cannot wait until your parti males will be old enough for studs.

I got some good current SOP dogs.
From the projects, Isabella color sticks around pretty strongly - I love that.

When I mix project color and current SOP, I usually get the blue and Orange Sable. Will see what happen afterwards with them.

I have three bitches mated to current SOP males .... hoping for a breakthrough in colour with them.
My B&T bitch with your blue male -- have fingers crossed, she is due tonight. She will be matched with Brown, Isabella studs also. I am hoping for more tan mixes from her.

Then I have another Friday night, and the third Saturday night. Don't really expect much from these two, but I think I am gaining some idea on colour with each match.

Tuesday night litters:

1 Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream) bitch
1 Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream) dog
1 Brown Sable Parti bitch
1 Brown-pigmented Cream Parti bitch

1 Brown & Tan Parti dog
1 Brown & Tan Bitch
1 Brown parti dog

1 Black Dog
2 Cream Sable bitches (1 with a SOP of -40.05 .... might keep her)

2 Cream Sable parti dogs
1 Cream Sable bitch

I am keeping the Brown-pigmented Cream Parti bitch, Brown & Tan bitch and the Brown & Tan Parti dog.

Was hoping for a blue and tan - didn't happen........

And I am putting up this 12 day old Brown Sable Parti bitch for sale (am keeping the younger one).

I have a Black Parti boy now up for stud.

And a number of different coloured puppies up for sale if anyone is interested. These are mainly 2nd and third generation puppies, and should not cause any glitches if NOT mated back to source.

Update on tonights litters.

I have scored a Clear Orange bitch. Trying to work out where she came from, I think partly from an orange sable several generations back!

And several partis, most up for sale.

38 day black parti bitch for sale - has produced both brown and black parti pups.

I have put couple of more current SOP for studs. I am running thin on space, so have FH a lot of my color projects.

Tonight I've bred a current SOP dogs to color project, we shall see what will come out of that mix.

You are doing very well in the color mixing, I love what colors you are getting!!! Also, got one more girl from you - I got to like those parti colors.

I had a few litters with not much new in colour, but have now got an Isabella and Tan bitch.

I am not making much headway in SOP as I am concentrating in getting as much variation in colour as I can to start with, hopefully SOP will follow.

"Cream colour" has sired yet another group of nice colours:

Dilute Brown Sable (Brown-pigmented Cream) male, Brown Parti Sable bitch, and a Blue Sable Parti male.

I am going to keep the younger Blue Sable Parti male and put the older on up for sale, also the other two pups.

I am now having to start making the hard decisions as to who goes next sad :(

I don't want to lose Cream Colour -- but he will have to go soon.........

I can feel your pain on saying good bye to these great color genetics.

I had a LOT of litters yesterday. Mix of current SOPs and my color project.

For the project I am making some head way with higher SOP dogs, but also trying not to lose the colors.
I am breeding these higher SOP color projects back with lower SOP rare colors and it's been interesting to see the results.

This girl is my fave from the last litters:
https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=17259669

With oranges I keep getting Orange Sables only though, no clear orange.

But speaking of Blue colors.
Blue & Blue Sable are current SOPs - I got those, if you are interested in sires.

Also got this baby - Blue Parti, if you want, I can sell it into your program. happy :)

Ooooo --- yes please, I will make space for him happy :)

I have another 6 litters due over the weekend. You have cream sables in your project I think?

I am going to have to check out your potential colour sires, to help me prune my stud kennel I think.

I am constantly having to FH dogs.
I might cut down on current SOPs to home more of the color projects now.

This baby made me happy:

Did you know?
The third obedience title is a UD, or "Utility Dog", which is earned through competition in the Utility obedience class
