Just curious, but anyone know if real life dog shows are being canceled because of the coronavirus? I don't think the ones here in TX have been yet, though it's probably coming.

Yes, several shows have been cancelled in real life. Right now, most of the cancellations seem to be in Washington state or in areas in which the local government has banned gatherings over a certain size. The co-owners of one of my dogs are showing in TX this weekend, but it will be their last show for a while, regardless of whether shows are being cancelled or not.

Yes, many shows are starting to be canceled/postponed. Several National Specialties have been canceled and the World Dog Show to be held in Spain in April has been postponed to July.

(Here's a long list of AKC show cancellations)

Did you know?
Since its centenary year in 1991, Crufts has officially been recognised as the world's largest and most prestigious dog show by the Guinness Book of Records, with a total of 22,973 dogs being exhibited that year.
