The drama often centered around people with multiple accounts being accused of running a 'super kennel' and people who had lives and couldn't be online 24/7 upset that those who could be online all the time got the best handlers, judges, and snatched up the quality pups for sale. If someone entered six dogs and took ALL the top handlers for ALL the upcoming shows with good judges, you can bet the squabbling began-- usually evenly split between 'it's not fair' and ' it's not against the rules.' That's where some of the excess handler fees, etc. came from-- the big kennels entering sub-par dogs to 'hold' handlers in case a better dog came along, in which case the lesser dog was FH'd, and the newly-available handler assigned to the better dog just before the show.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
