In the interest of being transparent and keeping everyone informed, I wanted to share some plans for the future of Showdog.
At some point in 2027, I plan to launch a completely new version of Showdog, built on the same platform I'm currently developing for Steerjock.com. The new version will offer a much wider range of features, particularly on the community side, and will also have a dedicated mobile app. To be clear, development on the new Showdog has not started yet. Right now, when I need a break from Livestockjudging.com, my focus is on Steerjock, but the long-term plan is to bring that same technology and functionality to Showdog. As for the current version of Showdog, there are no plans to shut it down. The intention is to keep it available for as long as the community wants to continue using it. I just wanted everyone to know what's on the horizon and what the plans are moving forward. |

Same as Showdog. I'm building out Steerjock in such a way that it will work with multiple versions. Going very slowly with it all, on purpose. |
