I don't post often, but I just can't contain my excitement laugh :D
My (almost) 3yr old Cairn bitch, Luna, finished her American Championship in style this past weekend at Great Western and Beverly Hills Kennel club shows. Luna was handled superbly by her co-breeder/co-owner.
In the two shows last Friday they went WB in the first which finished her AmCh with a 4pt major. They won BOB in the 2nd show of the day, and made the cut but did not place in group.

Saturday they got BOB and Group 1!! We are extremely honoured with this win over some of the best Terriers in the country. (Also this will be televised, Beverly Hills show presented by Purina, will be aired on NBC April 5th, in case anyone will be tuning in).

And Sunday they finished the weekend in style with another BOB and Group 4!

This was only Luna's 4th weekend in the USA. Needless to say we are so thrilled with our girl! It was perfect timing too, as she is now going to have some "time off" to have her first litter. happy :)
Luna is now AmCh/CanGCh Pellinore's Wild Magic
I will share pics once I receive them wink ;)

Wow, BHKC is one of the most prestigeous shows in the country! Well done! I imagine the show pic will be center stage in your living room. LOL. An Afghan Hound friend of mine is an artist and does a lot of paintings at BHKC. Maybe your Cairn will be in one of them, you never know.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

And I will DEFINITELY be watching the show on TV!

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
