Since Border Collies dont have a breed forum

https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=18336456

Just won his 10th! Since they are such a high numbers exhibited breed- this must be an achievement?

Whats the highest Specialty BiSs in your breed?

I do not think there’s a list per say, but a good start would be to go to your all time top dogs for the breed and see the stats of the top dogs.
I am really proud of my boy Red-tailed Hawk who got 23 BISS in his time showing! https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=18195133
But he has nothing on the current all time GWP who is owned and bred by Landcross, LC Kia Alder who had over 50 BISS in her show career which is amazing!

Still I think ten is a HUGE accomplishment as well, especially in a breed with very high entries. So good job! I think my next most successful BISS dog is my borzoi Czarina Fire and Brimstone in my other kennel with 13 BISS in her career. I doubt that’s the record for borzois but it’s definitely my personal record in them!

Congrats, Larbro! A specialty win is always an accomplishment. I find it to be the hallmark of quality, especially in competitive breeds.

Ditto to what Detroit said - poke around top all time lists. For Border Collies, the #1 All Time earned 83 in her career:

CH Bordcol Suni Brooke
https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=4032207

For my breed, I think one of my guys holds the top in Toy Poodles with 28 (including 3 Nationals wins):

GCH Comet Blonde Ambition
https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=16210045

(Also, not a top winner but just for fun - this Pekingese Nationals in 2008 had 259 entries - that's a huge win laugh :D

She can't match CH Bordcol Suni Brooke, but one of my Keeshond girls in the past, GCH CH DenKees Sweet Taste of Love, has 70 BiSS wins, and 921 Grand Points. I think she has the highest number of both in Keeshonds.

I just had to add her other achievements.

Did you know?
Judges are generally certified to judge one or several breeds, usually in the same group, but a few "all-breed" judges have the training and experience to judge large numbers of breeds.
