I've been mostly color breeding with a little showing on the side. I was going to fh my one girl since she's fairly low overall (80.45 wire) but I noticed that she had a perfect 10 in temperament. That was a nice surprise.

Wow, nice! If I were you, I'd definitely keep her.

ETA: www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=12895312 <<<look at that wildboar! Thanks to Em and Mack (especially Mack for the dam) and me, but whatever, for getting there. I can't believe we're up to the rest of the pack now!

Well, y'all, Lone Star Blues is looking to be like his daddy...produced the next highest SOP (by .15)

Sorry it's not a male this time, but there are other litters due later in the week!

Nice! I actually have an 89 Wildboar bitch in whelp right now (out of your boy!), so I'm hoping for some high SOPs and color! Fingers crossed!

Whoooooooooo! Have I got some news for y'all...

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=12908757

I thought I was hallucinating when I saw it, lol.

But, his sister was a disappointment...

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=12908754

She would've been the new highest LH at 89.90

Shooting Star Across Texas is up for stud! Yippie!

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=12908757

Yes, he's got Am as the prefix...I didn't like doin' it, but it was either that or pick a new name and he HAD to have the name, lol.

On the plus side, I got a 91.90 WH boy! I think he might be the highest SOP??

I seem to be stuck in a rut myself...besides that boy. I don't know...Lone Star Blues doesn't seem to be quite the producer Southern Star was or maybe I'm just being nitpicky. Plenty of 88s, several 89s, but only that one 90...ah, well, Shooting Star just better do good!

I think he's tied for top? Shining has this boy...

www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=12934962

But, still, tied is awesome! Hate to say this, but I'd love to see it go up to 92...I mean, LH/SH will have that much further to go, but we're not that far behind anymore. Kind of an awesome feeling wink ;)

Well, in LHs and SHs, I still only have my one 90+ boy, BUT...

Look what appeared last night in this account! I am happy with another 91.90 anyways, but she has a 10.3 FRONT!!! I have been trait breeding fronts for quite a while now and was stuck in the 10.4-10.5 range. Yay for progress! laugh :D

That's awesome!!! I got another 90 this morning happy :)

In wires, though, we broke 92!!! I got two out of one litter...both girls, but maybe there will be more males in the future wink ;) I am surprised because one is even a wildboar!

Congrats! It's interesting that those two have this side of ten FQs, like most LH do...WH generally have that side...10.5

It's because they are from my wildboar line, which goes back to Icebreaker Kennel's stuff...which had the opposite side (9+). I think I only have one stud that is 9.6, versus I have a lot that are 10.4-10.5.

Nice, congrats to you, too! I'm happy to see Shining's boy is producing well, since I just bred to him too wink ;)

ETA: I have two brindle girls up for sale, since I am focusing more on raising the SOP and don't have room in my kennel for now. They are up for $100, but feel free to offer any amount if you're interested!

I know! *does an excited little dance* I remember when LH used to be finishable...and they're finally gonna be again!

ETA: Shooting Star seems to be very strong in producing high Temperment pups. I have no idea how it happened, tbh, but that's the second 9.9 T and others are almost as high. I've never traitbred for it on purpose! lol.

Alexandria

PS I think he was worthy of a Star name, lol...otherwise, he'd been a Wild, since he's Wildboar wink ;)

Did you know?
At least two wins must be a set of three or more points ("majors"), under two different judges; at least one additional win under a third judge is also required.
