I think my dream job would be genetic counselor!

What is your favorite book of all time?

My favourite book of all time is The Dog Who Spoke with Gods by Diane Jessup.

Do you have any non- dog hobbies?

I usually spend time writing a lot and will also go out to do some new hobby every so often

What is your favorite hobby and why?

Currently enjoying digital drawing again, but I love writing too! I think it's important for everyone to have creative outlets somehow. It's good for the brain and soul.

Where in the world would you love to live, if you don't live there already?

Where would I like to live?

Well I'm ok where I am most of the time but when it's "Winterpeg" some place in Hawaii sounds pretty good.

Hobbies and passtimes:

I do a fair bit of reading - all sorts of stuff.

Have American Cockers kept in coat - do a fair bit of dog grooming.

Used to do ceramic/clay sculpture (and wish I could get motivated to do some again).

I actually had a bit of a business and was at one time quite well known in the world of model dogs and horses (that's where my SD name came from - GaylanStudio). If you Google that you might come across some samples - someone still has a couple of my Boxer dogs for sale on EBay. I used to have some of these as pictures for my ShowDog dogs but there is an issue with the account they are held in at the moment (have to look into that) so I can't link to them now.

Then I went back to school and got a real job that paid better with benefits and the sculpting and mold making got left behind. Now I'm retired and sometimes wish I could get back to that. (I still have stock if anyone is interested . . . (lol).

I live outside of Vancouver BC Canada, in Surrey.

I have 2 American Cockers. Robbie 12 and Emmy 7. Both are black which is why Clwyds only breeds blacks.

Hobbies:
Nosework (Emmy/Robbie) and Tracking(Robbie) and looking at getting into Mantrailing with Emmy.

I have been here too long to be able to remember a name I liked for a dog. laugh :D

Are you involved in any dog sports?
Agility, Sprinters, Flyball, Nosework, Tracking

Lol I think mine was "Stud Finder" - sire's name was Nail and dam's was Hidden Things. =D

I'm not involved in any sports currently but am interested in ringsport for sure, maybe IGP! I think a well-rounded dog has good conformation as well as a mental and physical capacity to be trained and do things, whether it's around the house or the yard or in competition.

What is the temperature outside today?

Ooops,sorry!

Ok, my niece just bought a new car (old one died).

So if you had no financial restrictions (and a valid drivers licence) what would you buy?

Oh boy.
- Hummer H1 for backcountry.
- Jeep Rubicon for overlanding/winter.
- Jaguar F-Pace F-Sport for luxury fun.
- Victory Jackpot (motorcycle).
- 1969 Camaro SS or Z28

...at least, lol.

What is your current go-to summer drink, or drink in general?

In the Summer, I generally just drink water but on the rare occasions, I might have a Bud Lite Lime or a G&T.

Drinks - Cranberry juice pure or blend (sometimes with a dash of vodka . . . ok usually a dash - or two - of vodka)!

My happy place - my dog, a good book, and some cranberry juice - lol.

Question:
Your favourite race horse or any horse if not a race horse fan?

Nothing planned. I got elderly dog not doing too well and a new hip to get used to.

Favourite TV show from your childhood (could be more or less current for some folks I guess).

Did you know?
The third obedience title is a UD, or "Utility Dog", which is earned through competition in the Utility obedience class
